Coming from and marrying into an insurance family, Grant began his career with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1989. His father was a well-known and respected Broker in Ottawa for over 40 years while his wife’s family including her mother, father and two uncles were involved in head office operations and sales.

From 1989 to 1995 Grant worked for various companies until choosing to become a broker in 1995. Grant specializes in life insurance, investments and employee benefits.

In 2004, he earned his Elder Planning Designation (EPC) which qualifies him to look after the unique financial needs encountered by todays growing elder population.

For the past 12 years through Pro-Seminars and CIEPS (Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies), Grant has facilitated meetings and proctored exams for industry members trying to maintain their continuing education for their license.

From a young age Grant has always been active on the volunteer side. From the Orpheus Operatic Society to most notably holding various director positions all the way to chairman/president and owner with Airshows held in Ottawa. Grant has also served on the board of directors for his local community association in Kanata.

Grant’s main goal is to try and help people navigate and benefit from the sometimes complex financial services industry in the most relaxed, easy and understandable way possible.
